History
When I started in this profession, I knew I would change the face of dog training forever! I have always had a deep love for dogs since I was a child. I've watched trainers from all over the world work with dogs and couldn't fathom why I had to "choke, etc" my best friend to make him OBEY me. I was always told "Well, that's just the way it has to be done or the dog won't RESPECT you," but I just COULDN'T agree. So, when I founded Ohio State K-9 College in 1978, I was determined to find a better way!
It's been 42+ years since and I still run the whole business by myself, because quality is not secondary to me and never will be. So rest assured that all consultations, all training, and all evaluations here will continue to be done by A REAL PROFESSIONAL.
My Commitment
My most important goal is for you to achieve and permanently maintain first command performances off-leash, especially with the come command. I’m always striving for your perfection; remember, anything less than this 100% control could actually cost your dog its life! In most cases, it eventually does! After knowing all the facts, can you settle for anything less than the quality of training offered at Ohio State K-9 College? I’m proud to say I have dedicated 12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, for the past 42+ years being a Master Trainer.
